Job Title: Registered Nurse Pediatric CICU

Location: Houston, TX

Available Shift: Nights

Hourly Pay Range: $42.03 - $65.10 (based on years of experience)

Shift Differentials: $4/Hour Nights & $2/Hour Weekends

Nurse to Patient Ratio: 2:1

Job Summary:

• You will perform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the critically ill patient with Congenital Heart Disease and/or Surgery.
• You will organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care. This plan will be individualized, family centered and holistic.
• You will maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
• You will participate in CHSU initiatives and process improvement.
• You will incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.

Requirements

• ACLS is required (active or should be in process)
• BLS is required (active or should be in process)
• PALS is required
• An active RN license is required
• ASN/BSN required
• 1 year of recent Pediatric ICU RN experience in an acute care hospital is required
• CCRN preferred
• Candidates with Children's Hospital experience preferred
