As a Cashier at VERDE NYC , you play a key operational role in ensuring smooth and accurate financial transactions during service. Working in a high-energy festive restaurant environment, you are responsible for managing all payment processes with efficiency, precision, and professionalism. Responsibilities:

• Process all customer payments accurately (cash, credit/debit cards, contactless payments, vouchers)

• Handle high transaction volumes during peak service hours

• Ensure correct billing and resolve payment discrepancies when necessary

• Manage the cash register, including opening and closing procedures

• Perform daily cash reconciliation and report any inconsistencies

• Coordinate with the floor and management teams regarding orders and payment status

• Maintain an organized and secure cashier station at all times

• Follow internal financial procedures and company policies

• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and operational standards

• Previous experience as a Cashier, preferably in a restaurant, hospitality, or nightlife environment

• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting

• Professional attitude and strong sense of responsibility

• Good communication skills and teamwork mindset

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Basic knowledge of POS systems
