BCBA: School-Based Behavior Analyst for Positive Change

Job Description Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required. BCBA in Malden, MA We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our educational team in Malden, MA. The BCBA will be responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans to support students with behavioral challenges. This role involves working collaboratively with students, families, and school staff to promote positive behavioral outcomes and improve student learning environments. Educational Requirements Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Relevant state licensure, if applicable. Responsibilities Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the causes and functions of challenging behaviors. Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make adjustments as needed. Provide direct behavioral therapy and support to students, including one-on-one and small group sessions. Train and support school staff in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies and techniques. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure consistent application of behavior strategies across settings. Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, intervention plans, and student progress. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of behavior goals and objectives. Stay current with best practices in behavior analysis and integrate new techniques and strategies into practice. Certifications Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Relevant state licensure, if required. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
