Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Conduct bedside evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans; implement evidence-based speech-language pathology interventions.
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient progress and discharge planning.
- Document patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and regulatory-compliant records.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on strategies to support communication, cognitive functioning, and safe swallowing.

Requirements
- Active California licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain).
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Clinical experience in speech-language pathology; acute care experience preferred.
- Ability to work in an acute care setting with diverse patient populations.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills; familiarity with regulatory guidelines.
