Senior Coordinator, Payroll (Hybrid)

Overview Payroll Operations Senior Coordinator – Benefits Processing, a hybrid position based in Dallas TX, Tucson AZ, Hartford CT, or Charlotte NC. Responsible for administering benefit‑related payroll actions across RTX business units: Raytheon, Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and corporate. Ensure accurate calculation, entry, reconciliation, and compliance for Savings Plan, Health and Welfare, and voluntary deductions for employees. Responsibilities Review and process payroll benefits cases submitted via ServiceNow (SNOW) for all business units. Research, evaluate, and resolve payroll benefit issues and discrepancies in a timely manner. Complete benefits payroll processing procedures while ensuring accurate earnings and deductions, meeting state compliance deadlines. Apply RTX standard work, knowledge of RTX benefit plans, and provide excellent customer service. Apply state/local laws, union rules, and business‑unit policies to transaction processing while supporting audit activities. Prepare, audit, and submit benefit payment transactions related to terminations, transfers, and leave of absence across all divisions. Collaborate with the Payroll Service Center to load, validate, and reconcile overpayment and arrears payments. Collaborate with Total Rewards, Leave of Absence, Human Resources, Payroll Ops, Vendors, and Time & Labor Teams on case processing and employee inquiries. Directly communicate results of calculations, discrepancies, and case resolutions to employees and stakeholders. Participate in payroll testing and review outcomes, troubleshooting issues. Ensure payroll benefits activities comply with company policies and regulations related to 401(k), HSA, FSA, and company match programs. Qualifications Associate’s degree (or equivalent 2‑year training) with at least 6 years of relevant experience; or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Experience in payroll operations or a related field, preferably in a large multi‑business‑unit organization. Knowledge of payroll concepts: benefits, earnings, deductions, pretax adjustments, autopay, and offsets. Strong analytical, reconciliation, and audit skills. Proficiency with ADP EV5, Global View, Workday, ServiceNow, and payroll reporting systems. Experience analyzing leave & earnings statement documents for benefit‑related payroll calculations. Experience processing termination and transfer transactions related to final pay and other time‑off payouts across business units. Familiarity with SOX controls and payroll compliance processes. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, etc.). Preferred Qualifications Ability to work with complex multi‑system workflows, adhering to federal laws and regulations while maintaining strong attention to detail.
