Working remotely while supporting enterprise clients in the NYC Metro region, you will collaborate with sales teams, engineers, and partners to drive successful outcomes. The position combines technical expertise, consultative selling, and customer-facing leadership. You will influence major technology decisions by translating business needs into secure, scalable solutions. Accountabilities:

The Senior Presales, Systems Engineer will act as a trusted technical advisor, supporting enterprise sales opportunities through solution design, customer engagement, and technical expertise.

• Partner with sales teams to identify, qualify, and advance enterprise technology opportunities.
• Design, architect, and present networking solutions aligned with customer business objectives and technical requirements.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) throughout the sales process.
• Develop solution architectures, proposals, technical documentation, and presentations that communicate business and technical value.
• Act as a strategic advisor for customers, guiding them from opportunity identification through successful implementation.
• Position networking solutions against competitive alternatives by highlighting differentiated technical capabilities and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, product specialists, and channel partners to deliver effective customer solutions.
• Stay informed on emerging networking technologies, market trends, and evolving customer needs.
• Support complex enterprise sales engagements by providing technical leadership throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Travel locally within the assigned territory as needed for customer meetings, presentations, and technical engagements.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a customer-focused systems engineering professional with deep enterprise networking expertise and strong communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in networking, systems engineering, consulting, pre-sales, or post-sales technical roles.
• Strong expertise in enterprise networking technologies, including routing and switching, wireless networking, network security, SASE/SD-WAN, data center networking, and network management platforms.
• Experience with network access security solutions such as Aruba ClearPass, Juniper Access Assurance, Cisco ISE, or similar technologies.
• Industry certifications from networking technology providers or equivalent credentials are highly valued.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for enterprise customers.
• Strong presentation, communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
• Experience supporting complex technology sales cycles in competitive enterprise environments.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness and ability to support customers throughout the NYC Metro region and travel when required.
