Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced high-performing Sales Executive to drive commercial growth and expand our client this role you will prospect pitch and close new B2B accounts across cross-border e-commerce sellers manufacturers and enterprise shippers requiring international air freight and global parcel solutions.
The ideal candidate brings a proven record of success in freight forwarding and logistics sales deep familiarity with international trade and customs workflows and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Actively generate and qualify leads through outbound prospecting cold outreach professional networking and industry events.
- Solution Selling: Consult with prospective clients to identify supply chain pain points and propose tailored air freight customs and cross-border delivery solutions.
- Deal Negotiation & Closing: Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact and rate quotation to commercial contract negotiations and onboarding.
- Account Transition & Growth: Collaborate with operations and client onboarding teams to ensure smooth account launches while identifying upselling opportunities across existing lanes.
- Market Intelligence: Track competitive offerings lane pricing shifts and international shipping regulations to spot emerging market opportunities.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain structured pipeline reporting activity logging and revenue forecasting within the CRM.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3 years of successful B2B sales experience in freight forwarding international logistics or cross-border shipping.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of international air freight forwarding customs clearance processes and global fulfillment.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets and quotas in an outbound sales role.
- Communication & Negotiation: Strong communication presentation and contract negotiation skills with C-suite and supply chain decision-makers.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with modern CRM platforms sales engagement tools and standard office productivity suites.
- Drive: Self-motivated and adaptable with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Established book of business or network within e-commerce consumer goods or retail manufacturing.
- Prior experience selling tech-enabled logistics platforms or digital forwarding solutions.
