Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Vascular Interventional Radiology team. This role involves providing quality care for patients undergoing interventional procedures and supporting the medical team in a fast-paced, critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care during interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor patients' conditions before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation as required.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in emergency response as necessary.
• Assist with patient assessments and documentation using electronic health records.
• Fulfill rotating on-call responsibilities as required, including weekends and holidays.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including assignments at multiple downtown locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in ER, trauma, ICU, critical care, or procedural nursing.
• Experience in pediatric/adult vascular interventional radiology preferred.
• Active South Carolina or Compact State Nursing License required.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
• Experience in circulating for interventional procedures is highly preferred.
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes for on-call VIR trauma activation.

Additional Information

• Weekend call may be required based on the schedule.
• Facility will provide scrubs for the nursing staff.
• Parking costs applicable only for night and weekend shifts; an on-call parking pass will be provided at no cost for night and weekend on-call shifts.
• Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season (June through November).
