Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, proficient in Siemens equipment and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care hospital within the CT department
• Handles typical emergency department patients, including trauma cases requiring multiple scans
• Performs extremity exams and stroke protocols
• Average daily census ranges from 30 to 50
• Day shift is 4x10 hours, typically 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with start time flexibility as needed
• Must be available to work weekends and two out of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Floating may be required within the hospital and to affiliated nearby facilities
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR; Epic experience required
• Scrub color is black
• Expected to float between units and sister facilities as needed
• Must complete pre-start and annual online modules (average 16 hours total)
• Team environment supports flexibility and independent work
• Free parking available on-site
• Candidates refusing float assignments may be subject to termination or loss of guaranteed hours
• All staff are expected to wear black scrubs in accordance with dress code

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent CT experience required
• Current ARRT (CT), CA License, and BLS certification required; license required if applicable
• Proficiency with Siemens CT scanners required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must provide two supervisory references covering one year of employment in a similar setting within the last three years
• RTO must be declared at the time of application; minimal to no RTO preferred
• Local candidates accepted, but must be outside a 50-mile radius for travel eligibility
• Former employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
