Pain Medicine Physician

Location: New Hyde Park & Richmond Hill, NY Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Interventional Pain Management Physician / Physiatrist to join its team at offices in New Hyde Park and Richmond Hill, New York . The ideal candidate will have completed a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency and an Interventional Pain Management fellowship , with experience evaluating and treating patients with acute and chronic pain. Responsibilities: Evaluate and diagnose patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Perform appropriate interventional pain management procedures. Monitor patient progress and treatment outcomes. Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and pain-management strategies. Maintain accurate clinical documentation. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care. Requirements: MD or DO degree. Residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) . Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management . Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R. Eligible for or currently holding a New York medical license . Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills. Experience treating patients with musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions. Preferred: Experience performing interventional pain procedures. Strong patient communication and bedside manner. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
