DISHWASHER (PART TIME)

Job Summary We are hiring immediately for a part‑time DISHWASHER position at Chartwells K‑12 in Maplewood/Richmond Heights, MO (2531 South Big Bend). Schedule is part‑time, days may vary, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pay is $15.00–$15.80 per hour. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation. Wash pots, pans and trays per assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation. Polish silver using burnishing machine, tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth as needed. Comply with safety procedures and maintain temperatures and chemical levels per standards. Keep dish area orderly, sweeping, mopping and cleaning floors, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces. Remove trash, steam clean or hose out garbage cans, transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, help load and unload supplies and product. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to perform essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation. Prior dishwashing experience preferred but not required. Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment. Good communication skills and willingness to follow safety guidelines.
