Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

As a core member of our medical team, you will be fully utilizing your skill set daily. Candidates must be highly proficient in:

• Advanced Nursing & Lab Work: Efficient venipuncture, intravenous (IV) catheter placement, and urine collection via catheterization and cystocentesis.
• Anesthesia & Surgery: Comprehensive surgical prep, intubation, patient recovery, and dedicated anesthetic monitoring.
• Medication Administration: Accurate medical calculations and confidence administering medications via PO, IV, IM, and SQ routes.
• Diagnostics: Precise radiograph positioning and processing.
• Patient Care: Genuinely compassionate monitoring and nursing care for hospitalized patients and boarders.

Qualifications

• Certification: Active CVT/LVT/RVT license preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience working as a veterinary technician in a clinical setting.
• Attributes: A strong work ethic, an eye for detail, emotional intelligence, and a deep commitment to animal welfare.
