Onshoring & Supply Chain Lead

Gatewell Group is hiring an Onshoring & Supply Chain Lead to oversee our partner bench: the contract manufacturers, test labs, and site-selection resources our clients' onshoring plans execute through. Recent Conditional Approval grants attach onshoring conditions, and the onshoring plan is the mechanism the client lives under afterward, including quarterly status reports to the issuing agency. A plan that reads well and cannot be executed is worse than no plan. We need someone who has built the line. What you would do Own the partner bench: qualify contract manufacturers and test labs, hold the commercial relationships, and match client programs to the right facility. Build time-bound onshoring plans for Covered List applicants: site selection, line transfer sequencing, supplier qualification, capex phasing, and realistic dates. Pressure-test client manufacturing claims before they go into a federal filing. If a client says a line runs in Q3, you are the person who decides whether that is true. Model domestic-content positions against the 48 CFR 25.101(a) domestic-end-product test, including the 65% to 75% step-up. Support the quarterly status reporting clients owe after a grant. Who this is for Ten or more years in electronics manufacturing operations (EMS, ODM, or in-house). You have run NPI, line transfers, and supplier qualification, not just managed people who did. You have negotiated site incentives, ideally in Arizona, Texas, or the Southeast. You can write a plan a federal reviewer will accept and an operations team will actually follow. Compensation and location $145,000 to $180,000 , depending on depth of operations experience. Full-time, in-house, hybrid. You work from our Los Angeles office as the week requires. This is not a remote role. You must reside in Southern California and be authorized to work in the United States. We do not sponsor employment visas. Travel to client and EMS sites.
