Together, we're improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a Senior Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Raritan, NJ. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday and alternating Saturdays, 7:30am - 4:00pm Job Responsibilities Act a liaison between the reference testing labs, clients, and patients Resolve internal & external Customer requests via calls, instant messenger & email communications Communicates with customers in respectful and professional manner Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions Provide customer education and information as needed Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies Transcribe reports from reference labs into Labcorp systems Utilize various logistics providers to ship to multiple locations around the country. Prepare & triage specimens for analysis Accurately identify and label specimens Prepare and store excess specimen samples. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications 3 months or more of specimen processing experience 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience Additional Job Standards Comfortability with handling biological specimens Ability to accurately identify specimens Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask Ability to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs Pay Range: $18.25-$22/hr. All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
