*Director of Operations / Operations Manager*

New Horizon Foods, Inc is need of an experienced Director of Operations / Operations Manager who is driven by achieving results in partnership with a proven Management Team.

Lead the heart and soul of a growing company with energy, enthusiasm, hard work and dedication. Lead by example and with collaboration to ensure a balance of efficiency and cost containment within a quality work environment. Ensure customer orders are filled complete within the committed timeframes protecting the Company’s reputation and brand. You are responsible for productivity, efficiency and the profitability of the organization on a day-to-day basis. Collaborate and integrate with employees, management and the company President.

Responsibilities include:

* Lead and monitor the work of departments involved in the production of food products, including planning, scheduling, purchasing, shipping and receiving, order processing, quality assurance, and maintenance.
* Work with Production, Logistics and Quality Assurance to ensure effective manufacture, purchasing and dispatch of all products to customers within specific standards and schedules required
* Represent the company daily in communication with customers and suppliers
* Work with the management team to develop and grow the business
* Responsible for monitoring all functions and ensuring they are vibrant and alive.
* Manage procurement of raw and packaging materials to ensure no shortages.

Position requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years management and supervisory experience.
* Demonstrated leadership competencies and technical/mechanical aptitude.
* Knowledge of business and management principles and practices.
* Bachelor’s Degree required. Advanced degree in related field such as Business Administration preferred.
* Energetic team player.
* Experience with HACCP, FDA, GFSI, and OSHA regulations preferred.
* Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
