About the Role:
Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated team in Sacramento, CA! Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate Montessori-based curriculum for toddlers
• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and prepared classroom environment
• Observe and document each child's developmental progress and milestones
• Foster independence, curiosity, and social-emotional growth in young learners
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child development
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support classroom and school goals
• Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and health and safety standards

Requirements:

• Experience working with toddlers or young children in an early childhood education setting
• Knowledge of or training in Montessori philosophy and methodology preferred
• Minimum 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units required; AA or degree preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
• Patient, warm, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for child development
• Ability to meet California Title 22 licensing requirements
