Position Overview

We are seeking three EMT-certified Patient Transporters to join the Telemetry unit. This is an urgent need for qualified candidates who can support safe and efficient transportation of patients throughout the facility.

Schedule

• 1st Shift
• Two positions: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Immediate availability preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from various departments, diagnostic areas, and treatment locations.
• Assist with patient transfers while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Follow proper patient identification and transportation procedures.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare team members.
• Handle and operate patient transport equipment appropriately.
• Follow hospital safety, infection control, and patient-care protocols.
• Provide professional and compassionate assistance to patients during transport.

Required Qualifications

• Active EMT certification is required.
• Previous patient transport or healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to safely move and transport patients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Must be reliable and available for the assigned shift.
