Details Acute care hospital setting within the PT department Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week One full weekend per month required (Saturday/Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) with a day off the week before and after Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations; must be able to work all 7 days Epic EMR experience preferred Patient population includes orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, neurologic, and geriatric conditions Requirements Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Current Massachusetts PT license required if applicable Minimum 2 years of hospital acute care experience required Level I or II trauma hospital experience preferred Teaching hospital experience preferred BLS required; ACLS preferred Experience with adaptive devices, gait training, and mobility equipment such as Hoyer lifts, walkers, and slings Skilled in patient assessment, documentation, and care planning across orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and neurologic populations Additional Information Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation across acute care settings Provides care for post-surgical, orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and neurologic patients Collaborates within a multidisciplinary care team in a hospital environment Completes required pre-start and orientation training modules Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review, with no RTO allowed during the first week Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius at the same bill rate Open to first-time travelers American Traveler Job ID P-771493.
