Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Heart and Vascular Technologist - Cath Lab Tech will perform specialized imaging procedures and assist with cardiac and vascular interventions. This role requires technical proficiency, certification, and adherence to safety standards to support patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment for interventional radiology, vascular, and cardiology procedures.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, vascular interventions, and electrophysiology procedures.
• Ensure all procedures comply with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Document clinical procedures accurately using Meditech or equivalent charting systems.
• Maintain certification and licensure requirements, including BCLS and ACLS, and update credentials as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to provide seamless patient care and seamless workflow.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program.
• Current ARRT or RCIS registration.
• Valid state license or pending license with clear ETA.
• BCLS certification; AHA certification preferred, with AHA BLS within three months if not already obtained.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology, vascular, cardiac cath, or EP modalities.
• Ability to float within hospital departments as needed.
