Azure SQL MI Administrator

To provide 24x7 support and administration for mission-critical Azure SQL Managed Instance environments, the remote contract Azure SQL MI Administrator will manage provisioning, configuration, and performance optimization while supporting a global operations team. Key responsibilities: Administer and maintain Azure SQL Managed Instances across multiple subscriptions and regions Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions Develop automation for routine DBA tasks and support SQL MI architecture and migrations Required qualifications: 5+ years of SQL Server Administration experience 3+ years of Azure SQL Managed Instance administration experience Strong hands-on experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance and Azure infrastructure Ability to work independently during shifts and participate in on-call support Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift model, including weekends and holidays
