Job Title: Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT)

Location: Liberal, KS

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

On-Call: Yes – shared rotation with lab staff; call-back as needed for coverage

 

A well-established 110-bed acute care hospital is seeking a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join its laboratory team on a permanent basis. This facility offers a collaborative environment with exposure to a wide range of laboratory services including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood bank, molecular diagnostics, coagulation, serology, and urinalysis.

Schedule:

• Day Shift – 8 or 10-hour shifts available
• Weekend Rotation:
• • Day Shift: Every 3rd weekend (if fully staffed)
  • Evening Shift: Every other weekend

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing
• Support chemistry, hematology, serology, coagulation, blood bank, molecular, and microbiology departments
• Perform phlebotomy as needed
• Maintain quality and accuracy standards in all testing procedures
• Cross-train for occasional night shift coverage

Qualifications :

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• MT/MLS or MLT certification preferred
• Phlebotomy experience required

Additional Opportunities:

Salary & Benefits

• Starting pay: $27.10/hour (negotiable based on experience)
• Additional compensation:
