Night AuditorThe hotel sleeps because you don't. While most of Austin is winding down, our Night Auditor is the calm, capable person keeping the hotel running overnight. Located in the heart of downtown Austin near the Rainey Street District, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced hospitality environment and can remain confident and guest-focused during busy nights. Typical schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.What You'll Do:Audit, balance, and reconcile daily cash, credit card, and room transactionsComplete nightly reporting and reset systems for the next business dayHandle guest check-ins, check-outs, and overnight requests professionally and confidentlyRespond to guest concerns and help resolve basic housekeeping or maintenance issues overnightCoordinate with overnight houseman and communicate important information for the morning leadership teamAssist with light breakfast setup and maintaining public areas overnightAnswer reservation inquiries and accurately enter reservations into the systemComplete required logs, reports, and overnight communicationsSupport guest recovery efforts and problem solve independently when situations ariseHelp create a safe, welcoming, and well-run overnight environment for guests and team membersWhat We're Looking For:Previous hotel front desk or Night Audit experience strongly preferredSomeone dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently overnightStrong problem-solving skills and good judgmentProfessional communication and guest service skillsComfortable multitasking in a fast-paced downtown hotel environmentBasic accounting/math skills and attention to detailAbility to stay calm, confident, and guest-focused during overnight challengesExperience with Hilton systems or hotel PMS systems is a plusWhy This Role Matters:Night Audit is one of the most important positions in the hotel.
