Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN), Medical-Surgical Rehabilitation, Plano, Texas. The position provides specialized nursing care to adult rehabilitation patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, orthopedic injuries, and post-surgical hip or knee procedures. The role supports individualized treatment plans focused on patient recovery, independence, and quality of life.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend; call required.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) qualification; minimum of 23 years of inpatient rehabilitation and medical-surgical experience; ability to provide care for adult rehabilitation patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse certification preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role serves adult rehabilitation patients age 18 and older, including individuals recovering from post-surgical hip or knee procedures, stroke, and traumatic brain injury. Typical patient ratios are six to seven patients per nurse. Royal blue scrubs and closed-toe, nonslip shoes are required; clogs are not permitted.
