Senior Software Engineer - Piada Support Center - Columbus, OhioHybrid Position, several days per week in office at our Piada Home Office located in Grandview.Must live in the Columbus, Ohio or surrounding areaMust be authorized to work in the U.S.Salary plus bonus $120,000-180,000 Annual CompensationThe Senior Software Engineer role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving Piada's company sites, internal analytics dashboard, and point-of-sale systems with the goal of enhancing our technical infrastructure to better serve our guests and teams, as well as mentoring and teaching other Software Engineers on the team.This role is also responsible for maintaining menu management systems, managing third-party applications, assisting stores with point-of-sale issues, and partnering with internal teams to use technology to solve business problems. You will also be a point of contact for guests seeking help with online orders, gift cards, Piada Rewards, and other inquiries or concerns they may have.The ideal candidate for this role will embody and demonstrate Piada's core values, have a passion for development, mentoring, strategizing, and guest experience, and demonstrate the ability to collaborate with various cross-functional teams within the organization. Software DeveloperArchitects advanced solutions to business problems using foundational knowledge of software development and business prioritiesMentors and teaches other Software Engineers on best practices, languages, libraries, and toolsCreates and maintains documentationCollaborates with other departments to develop solutions to business problems, including creating integrations between existing platformsManages user accounts in cloud-based softwareMaintains, updates, and creates menu items as menu changesSupports stores with point-of-sale issuesAnswers guest questions regarding online ordering, gift cards, Piada Rewards, and other questions/concerns that are sent to the Technology-managed email addresses.Provides timelines and roadmaps for development projects and technology initiativesMaintain and manage relationships with software vendorsOther duties as assigned, as opportunities and challenges ariseKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CS, Computer Science and Engineering, CSE, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience/certificationMinimum 6 years of professional experience in full-stack development, with preferences for:Ruby on RailsJavaScript (Vue)HTML/CSSMobile apps - iOS (Swift) / Android (Kotlin)Linux server maintenanceUnderstanding of user-experience theories and conceptsCloud server architecture, configuration, and deployment.
