Lead Infrastructure ArchitectWME is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Architect to help design and evolve the technology platforms that support our global business. This role will partner closely with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to develop scalable, secure, and operationally efficient solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Azure-based infrastructure, cloud modernization, and technical architecture, with the ability to balance long-term planning and hands-on problem solving. You will play a key role in establishing infrastructure standards, improving operational maturity, and helping shape the future direction of WME's technology ecosystem.ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Architecture & StandardsDesign and evolve infrastructure solutions across cloud and hybrid environments, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure. Establish architecture standards, reference designs, and best practices that support scalability, reliability, and security across the organization.Cloud Modernization & Operational ExcellencePartner with infrastructure and engineering teams to modernize existing systems and improve operational efficiency. Promote Infrastructure as Code, automation, and repeatable design patterns that reduce manual effort and improve consistency.Identity & Security PartnershipCollaborate with security teams to support modern identity and access management practices, including Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust principles. Ensure architectural decisions align with security and compliance requirements.Technology Planning & RoadmapsContribute to infrastructure roadmaps and technology planning efforts by evaluating current-state environments, identifying improvement opportunities, and recommending scalable solutions aligned with business priorities.Cross-Functional Technical LeadershipServe as a trusted technical advisor across infrastructure initiatives, partnering with engineering, security, and operations teams to evaluate technologies, guide design decisions, and drive alignment on architectural standards.Infrastructure Design & IntegrationProvide architectural guidance across key infrastructure domains, including:Cloud and hybrid infrastructureCompute and virtualization platformsNetworking and connectivityIdentity and access managementMonitoring, observability, and alertingInfrastructure automation and configuration managementShared services and enterprise integrationsGovernance & ComplianceSupport adherence to established security and compliance frameworks. Partner with infrastructure and security stakeholders to ensure solutions align with organizational standards and risk management practices.Qualifications8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture, or related technical rolesStrong experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments, including networking, compute, identity, and governance servicesExperience developing infrastructure standards, reference architectures, or technical best practicesFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code and automation conceptsWorking knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, or similar standardsStrong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience contributing to cloud modernization, infrastructure transformation, or operational improvement initiativesAbility to balance strategic thinking with practical execution in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated, collaborative, and passionate about solving complex technical challengesPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration initiativesExperience working within large, complex enterprise environmentsFamiliarity with infrastructure governance, architecture review processes, and technical standards developmentExposure to automation, self-service infrastructure models, and platform engineering conceptsPer local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.
