School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLPA — Port St. Lucie, FL

Connected Hearts Pediatric Therapy, LLC is hiring School-Based Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) for two separate charter school campuses in the Port St. Lucie area — one K-8 and one high school. Each campus has its own opening , so this is two separate positions, not one role split between both schools. Both are available now, and we're ready to bring someone on as soon as possible. Full-time or part-time options are available.

About the Role:

• On-site position at a single campus, following that school's calendar and daily schedule.
• Full-time or part-time — whichever works best for you.
• Pay: $75/hr for SLPs, $50/hr for SLPAs.
• Direct, hands-on supervision and support from a licensed SLP — you'll never be navigating a tricky case or an unfamiliar IEP situation alone.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students per their IEPs,
• Conduct screenings and evaluations as needed.
• Develop and track progress toward IEP goals.
• Maintain timely, compliant documentation of services provided.
• Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and other members of the IEP team.
• Attend IEP meetings and provide input on student progress.
• Manage a caseload independently while staying connected with your supervisor for guidance, case consultation, and support.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida SLP license, or SLPA registration/certification in good standing.
• Prior school-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable managing your own schedule and caseload within the school day.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with documentation.
