Job Summary Equipment Project Manager – LCS Retrofit & Upgrades Location: New Orleans, LA, Baltimore/Washington D.C. Job Category: Engineering This position supports retrofit projects within the Logistics and Material Handling sector, delivering technically sound, customer focused retrofit and upgrade solutions for parcel logistics and e‑commerce customers using Intralox automated equipment technologies. Responsibilities Partner with commercial teams to align on opportunity pipeline, establish priorities, and support opportunity development. Coordinate internal resources and establish effective support channels to ensure process continuity throughout. Work with project management, engineering and manufacturing teams post‑order to track and communicate overall project milestones. Create project schedules, drive task completion, define project timelines, and provide milestone tracking during qualification and quotation phases. Identify and communicate gaps in scope, support, or alignment early to mitigate project risk. Leverage strong understanding of Intralox equipment capabilities and value propositions within logistics and material handling applications. Collaborate with team members and customers to understand challenges and identify system optimization opportunities. Support customer visits, troubleshoot systems, and provide training as needed, with up to 30% travel including occasional weekends and international travel. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (BSME/BSEE), or other related field. 3–5 years of experience managing projects from pre‑contract phase through execution. Proficiency in developing project costs, resource plans, and schedules. Hands‑on experience with conveyance or automated material handling systems. Strong customer‑facing communication skills and ability to present technical concepts clearly. Excellent organizational and communication skills, able to lead high‑performing teams toward a common outcome. Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills with willingness to be hands‑on. Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%. Preferred Qualifications Experience in project management and/or design and execution of automated material handling systems or equipment. Knowledge of MS Project and building project schedules. Salary is determined by role, function, responsibilities, experience, location, education, and key skills.
