About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1+ years of Emergency Department experience required License: Active Ohio or Compact RN License required Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Heart Association ACLS - Active American Heart Association PALS - Active TNCC Certification Must-Have: - Skills Checklist current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty Description: The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during the shift. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The Registered Nurse also assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPNs and PCTs. Flexibility to float to all units within skill level is required.
