$15.00 to $17.70 per hour with the opportunity to earn up to an additional 8% commission on each transaction, averaging an extra $1.97 per hour. Auto–enrollment in FirstCash 401(k) after 6 months. Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, part‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate works with the entire store staff to provide customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business, handling sales, loans, and other transactions. Responsibilities Greet and engage customers, fostering rapport and presenting suitable financial solutions. Perform non‑management open/close procedures. Maintain a clean, stocked sales floor and properly display merchandise. Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements. Handle all cash and negotiable items securely. Answer incoming calls per company standards. Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Collaborate with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience. Complete assigned training programs. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Capability to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Knowledge of firearms and ability to become firearms certified. Willingness to assist customers outside the store property when required. Minimum age 18. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work with people and be team‑oriented. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Basic math proficiency. Cash handling experience preferred. Flexibility to work multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and capable of operating POS systems and standard office equipment. Commission Plan Information The commission incentive plan, proprietary to FirstCash, allows pawnbrokers to earn 2–8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Detailed information will be provided during the interview. Pay rates will not be below applicable local minimum wage requirements.
