General Production Worker / Batch Mixer

Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour

Shift: 9:00 AM until production is complete (typically 12-hour shifts)

Schedule: Rotating schedule of 3 days on / 4 days off with weekend availability required

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Production Worker / Batch Mixer to join our beverage manufacturing team. This position is responsible for accurately mixing beverage batches according to written formulas and production instructions while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, handling materials, operating equipment, and assisting with shipping and receiving activities.

Essential Responsibilities

• Follow written batch recipes, formulas, and work instructions to accurately prepare beverage products.
• Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients according to production specifications.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure proper ingredient quantities and batch adjustments.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Operate a forklift to transport raw materials, finished goods, and production supplies.
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory transactions, material movements, and order tracking.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, staging, and verifying materials.
• Inspect ingredients and materials for quality and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and food manufacturing standards.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all company safety policies.
• Assist with inventory counts and material handling activities as needed.
• Work collaboratively with production, warehouse, and quality teams to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or batch mixing experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus.
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and production documentation.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and unit conversions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Ability to work extended shifts as needed to meet production demands.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Myers, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
