Pay Range: $50 to $60 an hour

Client Industry: Pharmaceutical

Job Mode: 100% Onsite (6:00 AM Start Time)

Duration: 9 Contract Months (Potential Extension Based on Performance and Business Needs)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a multi phase construction project from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing schedules, budgets, contractors, permits, safety compliance, and project execution activities. This role requires strong coordination across contractors, stakeholders, landlords, and local authorities to ensure project success. The candidate will lead project meetings, maintain quality standards, and drive project milestones while ensuring compliance with construction regulations. Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret construction drawings are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage construction projects from initiation through project closeout.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Coordinate daily construction activities with contractors, subcontractors, clients, landlords, and city officials.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
• Manage project budgets, estimates, contract administration, and change orders.
• Issue and track permits including hot work, surface penetration, and working at heights permits.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA construction regulations and applicable building codes.
• Conduct safety inspections and enforce site safety requirements.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment movement, and site logistics.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor project quality, progress, and contractor performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager or related construction leadership role.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Experience issuing construction related permits.
• Knowledge of 29 CFR 1926 OSHA Construction Industry Regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with construction management software.
• Experience managing large scale or multi phase construction projects.
• Knowledge of environmental compliance requirements.
• Experience with contract negotiation and bid management.
• Strong financial analysis and cost control experience.
