POSITION SUMMARY

Our Sales Internship is built around hands on experience. Interns aren’t here simply to observe. They work alongside our Sales and Guest Services teams and are trusted with real responsibilities.

Sales Interns will develop customer service, sales, communication and problem solving skills while learning how a resort operates. They will interact directly with guests, work within our call center, sell resort products, assist with events and serve as ambassadors for Beech Mountain Resort.

This internship is a strong fit for students interested in sales, business, hospitality, tourism, recreation or communications.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN + DO

• Learn Beech Mountain Resort products and how to recommend them based on guest needs.

• Sell lift tickets, passes and other resort products.

• Work alongside the Guest Services team.

• Develop practical sales and communication techniques.

• Build customer service and conflict resolution skills.

• Gain call center experience by answering guest calls.

• Work directly with guests in person.

• Learn how to troubleshoot issues and find solutions.

• Gain experience using ticketing and guest management systems.

• Assist with resort events and special projects.

• Represent Beech Mountain Resort as an ambassador.

• Learn how departments throughout the resort work together.

• Gain firsthand experience working in a fast paced tourism and recreation environment.
