We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and help ensure exceptional behavioral health services for children, youth, and families across North Carolina.This is a part-time, salaried exempt position requiring a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. This is an opportunity for a physician or psychiatrist who is passionate about making a meaningful impact while collaborating with a dedicated team of behavioral health professionals. Psychiatrist or Pediatrician preferred.The Medical Director must have verifiable experience treating children with mental health diagnoses.Requires knowledge and the ability to practically implement mental health regulations and clinical services.Requires effective communication, decision making, analytical, interpersonal, leadership and professional skills and abilities.Must have basic computer and math skills.Must have a valid North Carolina's Driver's License.Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal, HCPR, OIG, EPLS and driving checks.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is not exposed to extreme weather conditions, toxic fumes, or airborne particles.The employee must occasionally travel to different locations in the course of work.
