Job Summary

Accurately selecting products to fulfill customer orders and preparing them for shipment. The Warehouse Order Picker / Distribution Associate plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, food safety, and operational excellence while demonstrating the client's guiding principles and commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment & Distribution

• Select products from the distribution center using location codes, descriptions, and stock numbers (SKUs).
• Pick and pack orders according to established distribution guidelines.
• Ensure proper labeling, identification, and packaging of all products.
• Sort, consolidate, and palletize products for shipment.
• Load orders accurately and efficiently to support on-time delivery.
• Audit completed work to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with operational standards.
• Resolve discrepancies and communicate quality, sanitation, or safety concerns to leadership.

Quality & Food Safety

• Maintain product quality by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP requirements, food safety procedures, and product specifications.
• Complete assigned tasks thoroughly and accurately to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Identify, document, and report any deviations related to quality, legality, or food safety requirements.
• Support a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or order-picking experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
