Senior AccountantCome share your skills with a growing company. Life Care Home Health and Hospice Family is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our expanding team. Here's what you'll do!The Senior Accountant contributes to the organization's funding strategy and long-term financial security. This position collaborates with the executive management team to analyze department finances and develop budgets that keep the company's costs down. Additionally, this role analyzes market trends and various business opportunities from a financial perspective.Essential Functions:Prepare business activity reports, financial statements, and forecasts.Make sure financial, and legal requirements are metDeveloping financial reporting systemsFind ways to reduce or maintain costs by studying financial reports and business processes.Analyze market trends to discover business opportunities and maximize profits.Requirements:Skills:Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all staff segments, including the Agency leadership teamProven strategic planning experience at the management levelKnowledge of office machines preferredKnowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookDemonstrated creative and critical thinking skillsAble to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication and presentation skillsEducation:Required bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required (MBA preferred)Seven years' experience in a financial management positionPreferred health care experience.
