Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel IR Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a Special Procedures unit, with on-call responsibilities required.

Details

• Special Procedures (IR) unit in an acute care hospital setting
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Interventional Radiology procedures performed
• Uses standard IR equipment and supplies
• Meditech EMR in use
• Day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call required after regular shift from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM the following morning; weekend call is 24 hours
• Minimum of 10 call shifts per month depending on staffing

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures
• Must have active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• License required if applicable
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required (Florida requirement)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform Interventional Radiology procedures within a Special Procedures unit
• Surgical scrubs are provided
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
