POSITION SUMMARY

The Cleanroom Tech Checker is responsible for the inspection of incoming and outgoing parts required for use by the customer and used in the maintenance of the customer’s machinery. This position assists the customer quality team in identifying parts that may be irregular or classified as Dead on Arrival (DOA). Works from diagrams, written and verbal descriptions as provided by the customer for conduct of inspections. Ensures part integrity and completeness through the maintenance of a tracking file. Irregularities will be documented, corrective actions taken as directed or escalated to the Quality support team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in the activities of the Quality Control function to ensure achievement of company and client Key Element objectives. Evaluates data obtained through SAP to determine correctness and completeness of parts. Gathers and records data through a shared portal which provides information to the quality support team for guidance and decision making. Reviews data generated in support of the Quality Assurance program; prepares reports and summaries based on data. Keeps up to date on overall activities of the DC, identifying problem areas and presenting data to support position. Assists to ensure that quality system requirements are maintained. Responsible for various reports including tracking and trending. Uses SAP, Excel and SharePoint to systematically investigate issues and follow up on previously identified issues. Performs Hold and Release transactions. Understands ESD processes and acts accordingly. Ability to read simple technical drawings. Meticulous with a sense for quality and attention to detail. Able to work autonomously and self‑independent. Ensures compliance and quality control. Supports other areas as required. Ensures that network operations comply with federal, state, local, and/or company policies and regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Ability to handle basic statistical control methods. Must have previous inventory experience. Current or previous experience with Quality Management System.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

Excellent computer skills, not limited to MS Office, Windows, or Visio. Basic to intermediate mathematical skills. Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance. Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast‑paced work environment. Current or previous experience with Quality Management System.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment. Previous experience working with Internal Audits, Document Control, and Corrective Action plans.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employer is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

COMPENSATION

For this position, the expected base pay rate is $22.00 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
