Responsibilities

Identify and engage potential clients throughout the Blacksburg community to assess their unique insurance needs.

Design customized coverage solutions that offer genuine protection and peace of mind to families and businesses.

Review existing policy portfolios to ensure clients remain appropriately covered as their lives and assets evolve.

Maintain open lines of communication with policyholders to answer questions and resolve concerns promptly.

Document client interactions accurately within our internal systems to ensure seamless service delivery.

Collaborate with our agency leadership to refine sales strategies and contribute to our local growth goals.

Requirements

Active Virginia Property Casualty insurance license.

Demonstrable history of successfully managing client relationships and sales pipelines.

Strong command of local market dynamics within the Blacksburg area.

Proficiency in industry-standard quoting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is a plus.

Experience with agency management systems or CRM platforms.
