Our organization is seeking a motivated and collaborative Interventional Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to become part of our well-established program in Altamonte Springs. This role is intended for a seasoned PM&R physician, specifically one who has completed a fellowship in pain management, to assist in expanding our practice into new areas around Orlando. The focus will be on developing two satellite locations, one in Apopka and another in Oviedo, both conveniently located within a 15-30 minute drive from our main facility in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

Under the guidance of our medical director, this physician will have the chance to deliver exceptional care and treatment options for individuals suffering from neck and back pain. Our multidisciplinary services at AHMG Spine Health encompass rehabilitation and sports medicine, wellness programs, pain psychology, pain management, procedural interventions, and outcomes-based research. The role will primarily involve outpatient consultations and injections, along with performing procedures at a nearby Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.

Physicians with a passion for academia will find this position particularly attractive, as our medical director is actively involved in various FDA clinical trials and serves as a faculty member for multiple spine societies. He holds the position of Robotics and Navigation Section chairman for the North American Society. At AHMG Spine Health in Altamonte Springs, he has contributed to the creation of a comprehensive research database focused on both operative and non-operative treatments for spine patients, aiming to report outcomes based on evidence-based spinal care and refine clinical algorithms. The new physician will have opportunities to teach, engage with our research database, and contribute to publications.

Our approach emphasizes a fully coordinated, holistic strategy for addressing neck and back pain, which includes advanced diagnostic services, non-surgical treatment options, as well as interventional and surgical solutions.

Job Requirements

Position requirements include:

• Completion of ACGME fellowship training in Pain Medicine.

• Current Board Certification/Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, along with board certification in Pain Medicine.
