About the Role
The Company is seeking an EVP, Sales to lead its most significant growth phase, with a focus on expanding retail and wholesale shelf space nationally. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving retail and wholesale revenue, managing key account relationships, and owning sales forecasting and pipeline. This role is pivotal in the company's mission to create trustworthy, high-quality, and innovative home improvement product solutions. The EVP, Sales will be expected to embody the company's core values, including a strong work ethic, integrity, and a relentless will to win, and to lead by example in demonstrating tenacity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to excellence. Key responsibilities for the EVP, Sales include driving channel diversity through new account acquisition, growing existing revenue, and building and managing a sales team. The role also involves negotiating and executing account-specific terms, and promotional participation, and ensuring channel-level profitability. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, with a proven track record in managing major national accounts and owning sales forecasting and channel P&L. Executive presence and strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to operate remotely and lead a distributed sales team. Experience in home improvement, hardware, or a related manufactured-goods category is preferred, along with a history of maintaining disciplined forecast accuracy in a fast-scaling environment.
