Clinical Nurse II A – Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse II A to join our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team. The ideal candidate will provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting cardiologists during cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and cardiac status before, during, and after procedures.
• Preparing and maintaining the catheterization lab, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for use.
• Administering medications and intravenous fluids as prescribed.
• Educating patients and their families about procedures, post-procedure care, and recovery expectations.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Responding promptly to emergencies and providing advanced cardiac life support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience, preferably in cardiac or critical care settings.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or similar environment is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

This is a full-time position within a fast-paced, technologically advanced cardiac catheterization laboratory. The role requires the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining focus on patient-centered care.
