License: Hold a current state-issued Dental Hygiene license
Certifications: CPR certification, X-ray training or certification


Must-Have:
GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills


Description:
Work together with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of the patient.
Provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.
Handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations.
These duties range in complexity and skill, requiring exceptional customer service skills.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to working well with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other team members.
GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation may be required.
Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education in accordance with approved guidelines.
Apply fluoride and protective sealants.
Remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
Record and review patient medical histories.
Uphold office policies, including HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Order and keep track of inventory as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

This job operates in a medical/clinical environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and x-rays.
This job operates in a well-lighted, sterile environment.
Employees must wear gloves, masks, protective eyewear, and appropriate clothing.


Physical Demands:

The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
