Forklift Operator Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator for a manufacturing company in Dalton, GA. Pay Rate Day: $18 per hour Night: $19 per hour Schedule and Hours Day: 8AM-8PM swing shift Night:8PM-8AM swing shift Must be willing to work every other weekend Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities Must have 5 years of experience Load, unload, move, and stack products, pallets, or materials within the warehouse or onto trucks. Inspect forklifts daily and perform basic maintenance checks (fuel, oil, battery, tires, etc.). Scan and record inventory movement using barcode scanners. Keep aisles, shelves, and storage areas organized and hazard-free. Follow all warehouse safety protocols, including wearing PPE and adhering to OSHA regulations. Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements Proven experience as a forklift operator. Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards. Ability to use barcode scanner Comfortable working in various environments (cold storage, outdoors, noisy areas). Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate machinery for extended periods. Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception for safe operation. Good communication and teamwork skills.
