Parts Representative

M.H. EBY, Inc, a leading manufacturer of aluminum trailers and truck bodies, is looking for a full time Parts Representative to join our growing company. Candidates are required to have point of purchase customer service & computer experience, as well as excellent people skills. Candidates should thrive in a fast-moving environment. Previous experience in ag or related field is preferred but not required. Schedule: 7:30am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday Benefits: Paid Time Off Paid Holidays 401k Profit Sharing Medical and Dental Insurance Flex Spending Account Life Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance General Purpose: Handle parts sales, process sales orders, filing sales orders, and parts cutting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Must possess the ability to maintain a positive attitude and work effectively within a team environment. Effectively comply with all company safety standards. First point of contact for part calls and counter sales Must demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate listening skills and problem-solving skills relative to customer inquiries. Process UPS shipment requests; create bills of lading for freight shipments. Computer proficient; data entry, internet access Read and interpret engineering drawings. Complete sales transactions; process payments Customer contact at parts counter; sale of parts and fill each order (retrieve parts from inventory) Take orders and process invoices for all fabricated parts sales. Communicate order requests to engineering. Assist customers with fabricated sales orders (toolboxes, etc.) Assist in shipping and receiving of freight orders. Processing of freight and UPS orders Maintain clean work area. Perform all tasks as directed by supervisor. Must possess the ability to prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks at once, as well as providing back-up support within the team. Must be proactive, take initiative, and be accountable. Operate Forklift Operate hand tools, misc. equipment, and tools to assist customers with orders being placed.
