Mechanical Engineer

We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer for a 6-9 month contract to support the development and integration of advanced hardware systems for next-generation vehicle technology. This is a hands-on role where you'll work with cross-functional engineering teams to design, build, test, and refine mechanical solutions from prototype through production. What You'll Do Design mechanical components and assemblies while balancing system requirements and manufacturability. Support hardware integration, testing, and troubleshooting. Develop CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation. Build and validate prototypes to ensure designs meet performance requirements. Evaluate designs for manufacturability, assembly, reliability, and cost. Participate in design reviews and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 3-6 years of mechanical design or product development experience. Proficiency with 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar). Working knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with thermal design or electromechanical systems. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, sheet metal, or additive manufacturing. Experience with ANSYS or similar simulation tools. Familiarity with Jira, Microsoft Project, or comparable project management software. Hands-on electrical experience (soldering, wiring, or cable assembly) is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Synchro
