Broward Health North Shift: Shift 1 FTE: 1.0 Summary Drives the effective management and oversight of quality improvement, patient safety, epidemiology, and risk management initiatives for the hospital. Oversees and develops the department and effectively utilizes internal and external resources to provide solution-oriented communications to hospitals, departments, and medical staff on a regular basis. Leads the team with recommendations for performance improvement to assure effective operations and compliance with governmental regulators, accreditation, and legislative standards and quality services. Education Bachelor's degree in related field. Experience Seven years of management related experience in the field of hospital quality or risk management. Credentials State of Florida Registered Nurse licensure preferred. Certification in healthcare quality and/or accreditation preferred, i.e., CPHQ, Six Sigma Green Belt.
