Project Administrator

Fauquier County is looking for an experienced Project Administrator to help bring important County projects from concept to completion. If you enjoy seeing a project take shape, working with engineers, architects and contractors, and keeping complex projects moving forward, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do

You'll manage multiple capital projects through planning, design and construction, including:

• Coordinating with engineers, architects, contractors and County departments
• Reviewing plans, specifications, schedules and project costs
• Overseeing construction and serving as the County's representative on project sites
• Managing budgets, contracts, change orders and contractor payments
• Keeping projects on schedule and helping resolve issues along the way
• Supporting grant-funded projects and required reporting
• Communicating with stakeholders and providing project updates

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a background in engineering, construction management or a related field and strong experience managing complex construction or capital projects. xhyhwjd

Experience with public-sector capital projects, construction contract administration, grants or multiple funding sources is especially valuable.
