As a Night Auditor, you will play a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction and financial accuracy at our Grand Bohemian Lodge in Greenville, SC. Job Overview The Night Auditor is responsible for reconciling all hotel cashier transactions; reviewing, organizing and compiling management reports on a timely basis and ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions. He/she is also responsible for effectively communicating concerns and/or related issues to all levels of management and performing guest service agent duties as required, including check-in, check-out, switchboard operation and reservations. Location Grand Bohemian Lodge is perched on the falls of the iconic Reedy River in downtown Greenville, offering guests a blend of luxury and natural beauty. The lodge features floor‑to‑ceiling windows, earth‑inspired décor, an outdoor bar and restaurant, an onsite spa, art gallery, fitness center, and hiking trails. Responsibilities Work with and understand financial information and data, performing basic arithmetic functions. Cross‑train in other accounting or hotel‑related areas as needed. Prioritize job functions to meet deadlines. Perform guest services functions as required (check guests in/out, take reservations, handle we‑up calls). Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports. Prepare and distribute daily reports (Daily Operating Report, Discount Programs, Tax Reports) according to hotel standards. Prepare and distribute month‑end reports. Audit and reconcile Front Desk and F&B cashier work. Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit card transactions in a timely manner. Ensure accuracy of all numbers reported, including statistics. Input and update financial information into the corporate communications network. Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual data processing system functions as required. Notify management of any unusual operational or financial events or deviations from policy. Ensure overall guest satisfaction. Respond to governmental inquiries upon receipt. Handle guest requests. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent and/or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field. Guest Service Experience preferred. Computer knowledge/skills required. Flexible and willing to work long hours, including late/overnight shifts. Ability to perform sedentary work and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds. Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests. Effective listening skills and ability to resolve concerns. Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, courteous, and service‑oriented manner. Attend all required meetings and trainings. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards. Maintain high personal appearance and grooming standards, including proper uniform and nametag. Comply with hotel standards and regulations to promote a safe and efficient operation. Focus on maximizing productivity and solving problems proactively. Maintain confidentiality of information.
