McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full‑time, (1.0 FTE), non‑tenure clinical track for all academic levels for a General Anesthesia faculty position in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine. Position Key Accountabilities The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching residents and medical students the skills and theory of this specialty and clinical activities in the Operating Room. Qualifications M.D. or D.O. degree Four years of training: one year of internship in an accredited internship program and three years of anesthesiology residency. Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Preferred board certification in Anesthesiology or board‑eligible status. Excellent clinical skills. Simulation teaching would be a great plus.
