Manager, Quality Full Time Management DAYTON, OH, US Develop, maintain, and support the quality management system and quality control organization per AS9100 and customer requirements. Coordinate and implement the quality management system, associated Nadcap requirements, and customer requirements Achieve and maintain DSQR for GE, Rolls Royce and other aerospace customers Manage the Dayton, OH Plant’s Quality Department’s employees Work with the customer, suppliers and internal personnel to discuss and resolve quality issues as required Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives Prepare for and represent the company during Nadcap, customer, government, and AS9100 audits Perform internal audits of existing quality management systems procedures and processes Provide training to Quality Control Inspectors Prepare and present AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) as required Assist in the development and implementation of Root Case and Corrective Actions (RCCA) initiatives Demonstrate safe work habits Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies Maintain current, overall, and job specific trainings and requirements Carry-out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws Other duties as assigned Safe Practice Guidelines / Required Personal Protective Equipment: Safety glasses with side shields as required Steel toed/metatarsal safety shoes as required Gloves as required Earplugs as required Welding hood, jacket, face shield, and/or gloves as required Fire Retardant (FR) clothing as required N-95 mask or respirator as required Seat belts required on all forklifts Qualifications and Educational Requirements: Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Detail oriented Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, to include PowerPoint Manage time with little to no supervision, self-motivated AS9100 Quality compliance, understanding, and commitment Bachelor of Science degree or a minimum of ten (10) years related experience Minimum five (5) years of quality assurance management experience in a sheet metal/roll form aerospace facility We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Dynamic-Metals
